A premium hospitality concept website focused on clean layout, refined typography, and interaction-driven UX. Built in Webflow and enhanced with custom GSAP animations, including a cinematic loading sequence and smooth page transitions.

The Random is a conceptual hospitality website designed to present a premium short-stay experience through a clean interface and carefully crafted interactions. The project focuses on combining minimal visual design with advanced motion to create a seamless and engaging user journey. The goal was not only to showcase accommodation, but to deliver a digital experience that reflects the atmosphere of a modern, high-end stay.
The main challenge was to create a visually refined interface that remains simple, while still feeling dynamic and engaging. Hospitality websites often rely on heavy imagery and standard layouts, which can feel repetitive and predictable. The objective here was to break that pattern by introducing interaction-driven storytelling, without overwhelming the user or compromising clarity. Another key challenge was controlling animation flow - ensuring that transitions feel intentional and synchronized rather than distracting or disconnected.
The project was built through a structured process, starting with layout planning and visual direction in Figma, followed by development in Webflow. A strong emphasis was placed on spacing, typography, and content hierarchy to guide the user naturally through the page. Each section was designed as a modular block, ensuring consistency while allowing enough flexibility to keep the layout visually interesting. Special attention was given to how users enter the site and how the experience unfolds from the very first interaction.
The visual identity is built around a dark, minimal aesthetic combined with subtle gold accents to convey elegance and exclusivity. Typography plays a central role in establishing hierarchy and tone, while generous spacing improves readability and overall balance. The design avoids unnecessary elements, focusing instead on clarity, contrast, and a calm visual rhythm that supports the content.
A key part of this project is the use of motion to enhance the user experience. A custom loading sequence was implemented using GSAP, featuring a door-opening animation synchronized with split text movement. This creates a cinematic introduction that sets the tone for the entire experience. The animation flow was carefully controlled to ensure that the loader, page reveal, and hero section transition work seamlessly together. Additional micro-interactions, including hover states and subtle transitions, provide feedback and improve usability without overwhelming the interface.
The layout was optimized across multiple screen sizes to ensure consistency in both structure and interaction. Special care was taken to maintain readability, spacing, and visual hierarchy on smaller devices, while preserving the overall aesthetic and performance of the site.
The website was built in Webflow, with custom GSAP animations used to achieve precise control over motion and timing. Challenges such as synchronizing multiple animations, preventing repeated loading sequences, and ensuring smooth transitions across page interactions were carefully addressed. The final result demonstrates the ability to combine visual design with technical execution to create a polished, interactive experience.
The final product is a refined, interaction-driven website that balances aesthetics and functionality. It showcases a strong understanding of layout, typography, and motion design, while maintaining a clean and user-friendly interface. This project highlights the ability to design and develop modern web experiences that go beyond static layouts and focus on how users interact with the interface.
